THEATER SCALA OPERA HOUSE, MILAN / The renovation and enlargement project planned by architect Mario Botta included waterproofing the 18-metre deep stage pit with 850 m² of floor slab and 2,500 m² of walls.

The Drytech White Tank System was chosen for a series of advantages: it guaranteed a solution to the problem of waterproofing the tie rods of the load-free floor slab: it saved 3 months of site days; because it coincides with the structure, the waterproofing cannot be damaged.
The stage tower is 38 metres high and 18 metres deep. It can manage scenery for 3 shows simultaneously.

Shows can be fully changed in just 6 minutes thanks to sophisticated stage machines.
